1004-7 PASS I CHILDCARE
Reliable childcare can be one of the most important resources available to families on ATAP. While their ATAP case in pended or open, families with children through age 12 are eligible for PASS I childcare. It is critical that care is authorized timely and correctly. 1004-7 A. PARENT RESPONSIBILITIES AGREEMENT PASS I
Prior to authorizing PASS I care the WSP must review the content of the following document with each parent on the case and obtain their signature(s) on the CC3.
1004-7 B. CHILDCARE RESOURCE AND REFERRAL
If a family needs assistance locating a childcare provider who will accept PASS payments they can be referred to THREAD to locate appropriate care.
1004-7 C. ALASKA CHILDCARE INFORMATION SYSTEM
Once a childcare provider has been selected, the WSP utilizes https://AKCCIS.com to create an authorization for childcare. The site provides guidance on authorizing care, job aids, and technical assistance.
