As a result of requests from the field we have clarified when subsidized housing expenses must be verified.

OVERVIEW OF CHANGES

MS 705-4 A  Verification Required Prior To Allowing Deductions

1. • Adds a note stating that rent for individuals in subsidized housing must be verified.

MS 780- 19 I  When Shelter Costs Must Be Verified  

1. • Adds a note stating that rent for individuals in subsidized housing must be verified at initial application, during the review period or at review if the amount has changed more than $25.00 or if the client has moved to a new location.
