We are clarifying that verbal verification of self-employment income and expenses is allowable, although written verification is preferred if available.  Verbal verification can be received from a collateral contact or the self-employed individual.

MS 705  Application Process

1. • Replaces the word "attend" with "participate" to reflect that face to face interviews are no longer required.

MS 705-4  Verification

1. • In the Direct Data Systems table, replaces the Automated Status Verification System ( ASVS Automated Status Verification System ) with Verification Information System ( VIS Verification Information System ).  The VIS Verification Information System is the online electronic verification process used by the SAVE Systemic Alien Verification for Entitlements Program

MS 713-9  Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements ( SAVE Systemic Alien Verification for Entitlements ) Program

1. • Clarifies that VIS Verification Information System is the online electronic verification process used by the SAVE Systemic Alien Verification for Entitlements program

MS 717-4  Failure To Cooperate With CSSD Child Support Services Division

1. • Changes e-mail address workers use to notify CSSD Child Support Services Division of a good cause determination to cssdgoodcause@alaska.gov.
