793-2          FRAUD REFERRALS

 

When a caseworker believes an individual is withholding or concealing information, or receives a complaint alleging an applicant or recipient may be fraudulent, the caseworker will refer the case to the Fraud Control Unit. The Fraud Control Unit will investigate and decide whether to:
