792              INCORRECT PAYMENTS

When a family receives a payment that is more or less than the amount for which they are actually eligible, an incorrect payment has occurred.  This chapter provides policy for correcting payments.

Any DPADivision of Public Assistance staff member who discovers an incorrect payment is responsible for initiating action to correct the error.
