Division of Public Assistance uses federal TANFTemporary Assistance to Needy Families funding, state general funds (GF), and Permanent Fund Dividend Hold Harmless (PFD HH) funding for a variety of NRSTNon-Recurrent Short-Term benefits that are intended to deal with a specific crisis situation, or episode of need, but will not extend beyond four months.
