758        UNEARNED INCOME

Unearned Income means all income that is not considered earned income.  It includes:

• Retirement, Social Security (RSDIRetirement Survivors Disability Insurance, but not SSISupplemental Security Income) benefits, and Veteran's pensions; 

• Dividends and interest; 

• Unemployment compensation; 

• Strike benefits; 

• Direct child support; 

• Contest or lottery prizes and bingo winnings; 

• Payments from any type of cash assistance program; 

• Deposits into joint accounts owned by a member of the assistance unit and any person outside the economic unit;

• Crowdfunding accounts; 

• Cash gifts by someone who is not in the economic unit; and 

• Net amounts "deemed" available to the assistance unit from stepparents, parents of minor parents, or Form I-864 alien sponsors and signatories.
