757-12        ENERGY AND UTILITY ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS

Energy payments made to or on behalf of an ATAPAlaska Temporary Assistance Program applicant or recipient by the Division's Heating Assistance Program (as issued by the State of Alaska or a Tribe) are disregarded as income. This includes direct pay (cash) payments intended for household energy costs.

Water utility payments made to on or behalf of an ATAPAlaska Temporary Assistance Program applicant or recipient by the Division's Water Assistance Program (as issued by the State of Alaska or a Tribe) are disregarded as income. 

One-time or crisis energy assistance payments (energy rebates, heating assistance, or emergency assistance) made by the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFCAlaska Housing Finance Corporation) to its tenants are disregarded as income.
