Paid Unsubsidized Employment:  Always the first option.

 

Work Search and Job Readiness:  The cornerstone of Work First.

 

Vocational Education and Training:  When necessary for employment.

 

High School or GED for Teens:  Requirement for minor teens.

 

On the Job Training: Leading directly to paid employment.

 

Subsidized Employment:  As preparation for paid employment.

 

Community Work Experience and Business Work Experience:  When there are no jobs.

 

Job Skills Training: Short-term training or education supporting success at work.

 

English as a Second Language: When needed to be successful at work.

 

GED Preparation and High School Completion for Adults: When needed to get or advance at work.

 

Education Directly Related to Employment: Adult Basic Education and other education needed to be a successful productive employee.
