If the individual who refused or separated from suitable employment is required to be included in the assistance unit, the entire family is ineligible for assistance for the applicable disqualification period. Impose the individual penalty information on WOSAWork Sanctions (Eligibility Information System Screen). Follow ATAPAlaska Temporary Assistance Program MS 722-5 to determine the length of the disqualification, and ATAPAlaska Temporary Assistance Program MS 722-6 to determine the start date of the disqualification. Deny/close the case and send appropriate notice. Adverse action is required for closure on an ongoing case.

 

If the individual who refused or separated from suitable employment is not required to be included in the assistance unit, impose the individual penalty information on WOSAWork Sanctions (Eligibility Information System Screen), and remove that individual from the assistance unit with appropriate notice and adverse action, if required. The income and resources of the disqualified individual are not counted in the eligibility and payment determinations for the remaining assistance unit.
