714-2          APPLICANTS RECEIVING ASSISTANCE FROM OTHER STATES

Applicants (including children) who have recently arrived in Alaska and who indicate they are receiving assistance from another state shall be eligible for ATAPAlaska Temporary Assistance Program in Alaska when they satisfy the residency requirement and are otherwise eligible.  However, ATAPAlaska Temporary Assistance Program benefits cannot be authorized until eligibility in the other state is terminated.   Verification of out-of-state case closure is required.
