712            CARETAKER RELATIVES

 

In order for a dependent child to be eligible for ATAPAlaska Temporary Assistance Program, the child must be living in the home of a "caretaker relative." The caretaker relative must maintain a home for the child and exercise or provide responsibility for the care and supervision of the child. A caretaker relative may also be eligible for ATAPAlaska Temporary Assistance Program if he or she requests to be included in the assistance unit and meets other eligibility requirements of the program.
