605-7 F(4) Setting the Food Stamp Certification Period

PFD Permanent Fund Dividend Garnisheed:

An applicant applies for Food Stamps in October.  He reported that his PFD Permanent Fund Dividend Permanent Fund Dividend was garnisheed by IRS Internal Revenue Service to pay back taxes. He is determined ineligible for Food Stamps in October due to PFD Permanent Fund Dividend income, but will be eligible for Food Stamps beginning November.  PFD Permanent Fund Dividend Hold Harmless benefits are issued for October.  Food Stamps are approved effective November.  The Food Stamp case is certified for six months, November through April.
