Expedited Processing of PFD Hold Harmless Benefits -

If a household is eligible for expedited benefits under Food Stamp Program policy, it is eligible for expedited processing of PFD Hold Harmless benefits.  This includes waiving verification that would have been waived if the application was eligible for expedited FS as well as interviewing and issuing benefits quickly.  The “A” issuance code is not available when issuing PFD HH through the GA program.  The “R” (Regular) BENEFIT ISSUANCE code should be used for processing the second month of expedited PFD Hold Harmless benefits if the CASH Regular run for that month has not yet occurred.  The “I” BENEFIT ISSUANCE code should be used for processing the second month of expedited PFD Hold Harmless benefits if the CASH regular run for that benefit month has already occurred.  Check the Systems Operations Production Calendar for scheduled run dates.
