The Denali Kid Care and Self-Employment Annualization income standards are based upon the Federal Poverty Guidelines (FPG ) for Alaska as set each year by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. We have updated the charts in Addendum 1 and 2 to reflect these changes which take effect April 1, 2016.
Other changes are either technical in nature or clarifications that are the results of policy questions or suggestions from the field.

5018 D Exemptions for Applying for UIB
5710 MAGI Medicaid Household Composition
Updated tax filing thresholds to 2015 amounts: $6300 earned income, $1050 unearned income, and a combination totalling over $5950 earned plus $350 unearned.
5710-3 Determining Countable Income for Each Member using MAGI Rules
Updated tax filing thresholds to 2015 amounts: $6300 earned income, $1050 unearned income, and a combination totalling over $5950 earned plus $350 unearned.
Addendum 2 Family Medicaid Income Standards
Updated FPL standards for self-employment annualization.
Addendum 3 MAGI Medicaid Subtypes
Removed the Expansion Medicaid Subtypes of AX (Emergency Alien, Newly Eligible) and XE (Emergency Alien, Non-Newly Eligible) as these Medicaid Subtypes are not yet valid.
Clarified that the Emergency Alien Medicaid Subtype of AL should be used for the Expansion Group.
Removed the Incarceration Medicaid Subtypes of RI and VI as they are not valid.
Addendum 5 MAGI Income standards
Updated FPL standards.
Placed 'n/a' in Pregnant Woman Medicaid income standard for household size of 1 as the household size will always be 2 or greater.
