5195-4        REVIEW OF ELIGIBILITY

Title IV-E adoption assistance cases must be reviewed at least once every 12 months.  A review application is not required; verification that the adoption assistance agreement remains in effect is considered sufficient review.  Foster Care cases are reviewed every 6 months along with the OCS Office of Children's Services Title IV-B case review.  A full review, including the GEN 33A or GEN 35 application, is required.

The social worker is responsible for notifying the OCS Office of Children's Services eligibility caseworker between review periods if a Title IV-E Foster Care or Title IV-E Adoption Assistance child has a change in status that affects the child's eligibility for Title IV-E assistance.
