5011 U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBLE ALIEN STATUS
To receive Medicaid, including Denali KidCare, a person must be:
A United States citizen or U.S. National;
A qualified alien, as described in section 5011-2. Qualified aliens may be subject to limited eligibility as explained in section 5011-4.
A Native American born in Canada or Mexico who has treaty rights to cross the U.S./Canada and U.S./Mexico borders as described in section 5011-3.
