5000-3        PRUDENT PERSON JUDGEMENT

The policies and procedures used throughout this manual are designed as a guide for DPA Division of Public Assistance caseworkers.  The policies within this manual are intended to be flexible when necessary.  Caseworkers are expected to use prudent person judgement ( PPJ Prudent Person Judgment ) when making decisions necessary to administer the program fairly and consistently within the program’s intent.
