5161-13     TANF Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (Federal) PAYMENTS

Any Temporary Assistance or Native Family Assistance retroactive corrective payment is not counted as income in the month it is received.  It is also disregarded as a resource in the month following the month of receipt.  Regular on-going Temporary Assistance or Native Family Assistance payments are not counted as Family Medicaid income.
