5000-3        PRUDENT PERSON JUDGEMENT

The policies and procedures used throughout this manual are designed as a guide for DPA caseworkers.  The policies within this manual are intended to be flexible when necessary.  Caseworkers are expected to use prudent person judgement (PPJ Prudent Person Judgment) when making decisions necessary to administer the program fairly and consistently within the program’s intent.
