We are making several changes to incorporate new policy, clarify existing policy, and align policies within our program policy manuals. Other changes are either technical in nature or clarifications that are the result of policy questions or suggestions from the field.

410-2E WHO CAN SIGN THE APPLICATION FORM
- Clarified who can sign an application for APAAdult Public Assistance benefits.
410-3B WHO MUST PARTICIPATE IN THE INTERVIEW
- Clarified who can participate in an APAAdult Public Assistance interview.
410-3C WHO CAN CONDUCT THE INTERVIEW
- Removed NFAPNative Family Assistance Program agency as an entity who could conduct an APAAdult Public Assistance interview.
410-4 VERIFICATION
- Added IEVSInstant Eligiblity Verification System to interfaces that must be checked when adding a spouse.
- Removed INGENSPublic Information Database from interfaces that are checked if questionable or under certian conditions.
420-2D BENEFITS TO APAAdult Public Assistance RECEIPIENT PENDING AN SSISupplemental Security Income DECISION
- Clarified that if an APAAdult Public Assistance recipient is still deemed disabled and meets all other factors of eligibility, the recipient should be given 30 days to provide verficiation that they are pursuing SSISupplemental Security Income.
433-4 ABLEAchieving a Better Life Experience ACCOUNTS
- Clarified that an ABLEAchieving a Better Life Experience account can be administered by any state that allows an ABLEAchieving a Better Life Experience account.
441-1E NET EARNINGS FROM SELF-EMPLOYMENT
- Updated section to clarify what are allowable business expenses.
