We are making changes to clarify existing policy and adding a section on incarcerated adults.

OVERVIEW OF CHANGES

425-2D               STATE-ONLY BLINDNESS OR DISABILITY DECISIONS

• Clarifies that a SSA disability decision trumps a DDS disability decision.

441-1C               SICK LEAVE

• Changed the title from sick payment to sick leave.

460-1F               SPOUSE

• Clarifies definition of Spouse

470-1               INELIGIBLE INSTITUTIONS

• Added clarification that an incarcerated individual may be eligible for Medicaid for hospital stays over 24 hours.

470-3               TEMPORARY ABSENCE

• Replace Affiliated Computer Systems with Xerox, the State's fiscal agent.
