112-7 INTENTIONAL PROGRAM VIOLATION PENALTIES
The Intentional Program Violation penalties apply whether a client signs a disqualification-hearing waiver, is found guilty of an IPV Intentional Program Violation in a hearing, or is found guilty in a criminal prosecution by court of law.
The IPV Intentional Program Violation provision for Administrative Disqualifications applies only to the Food Stamp and Alaska Temporary Assistance programs. Individuals disqualified from the Food Stamp or Alaska Temporary Assistance programs will not be disqualified from the Medicaid program.
Note:
See the program’s policy manual for specific rules on fraud disqualifications
and/or penalties, and to determine if it applies to the individual or
to the household.
