110-13 CLOSING CASES OR ENDING PAYMENTS
A payment shall be terminated in the month following a determination that a recipient is no longer eligible, providing that the advance notice requirements are met.
In certain cases, the case may contain no one who is eligible for cash payments but may still contain persons eligible for benefits related to AFDC (such as Medicaid); the payment must be stopped but the case left open. See the AFDC and Medicaid program manuals.
