102-2 SCREENING
Prior to the interview or processing a mail-in application, a knowledgeable DPA staff member may screen the application to:
Provide the client with a basic understanding of what type of verification materials to bring to the eligibility interview;
Refer the applicant to other community resources; and
Schedule an eligibility interview, if required.
Note:
Each food stamp application must be screened for entitlement to expedited service the same day the application is received in the District Office.
