440           INCOME

To be eligible for assistance, an individual or couple must have countable income that does not exceed the income limits of the APAAdult Public Assistance program.  This section explains the income requirements of the APAAdult Public Assistance program.  Certain income of ineligible spouses and/or alien sponsors is considered available (deemed) to meet the needs of an individual or couple in determining eligibility for APAAdult Public Assistance .  Refer to chapter 460 for the policy on the deeming of income of ineligible spouses and/or alien sponsors.
