426-4        INTERIM ASSISTANCE SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION

An individual is not eligible for IAInterim Assistance for any month in which his or her countable income, after rounding, exceeds the applicable APAAdult Public Assistance need standard.

When an IAInterim Assistance recipient becomes ineligible for IAInterim Assistance because of excess income, the caseworker must close the IAInterim Assistance case with adverse action. 

If the IAInterim Assistance case is closed because of excess income, the APAAdult Public Assistance/Medicaid application is denied, and the client will have to reapply.
