121-13 CLOSING CASES OR ENDING PAYMENTS

A payment shall be terminated in the month following a determination that a recipient is no longer eligible, providing that the advance notice requirements are met.

Certain cases may contain no one who is eligible for cash payments but may still contain persons eligible for benefits related to associated Medicaid; the cash payment must be stopped but the case left open. See the Aged, Disabled and Long Term Medicaid manual for additional information.
