115-2 OFFICE OF CHILDREN'S SERVICES
The Office of Children's Services ( OCS ) in the Department of Health and Social Services is an agency which is responsible for planning, developing and delivering a variety of social services designed to assist Alaskans to achieve and maintain an acceptable social condition, with special attention given to low-income families.
Services available to eligible families through the Office of Children's Services include:
Information and referral services;
Individual and family counseling; and
Child protective services including day care support, foster care and homemaker support;
Clients interested in applying for such assistance should be referred to the local Office of Children’s Services.
