102-6          INTERVIEWS IN REMOTE AREAS

 

Those household residing in remote areas of Alaska where a caseworker or Fee Agent is not available to meet the program's interview requirement may meet the requirement with a telephone interview. The caseworker must document the circumstances and the eligibility decision in the case record. Such documentation and resulting eligibility decisions should be re-examined if a DPADivision of Public Assistance staff member visits the community in which the household resides.
