102-5          CONSEQUENCES OF NO INTERVIEW

If the household refuses to participate in an interview and is unable to provide good cause for such action, the application must be denied according to the program’s requirements.  "Refuses to participate" means that there is clear evidence the household is able to complete an interview, but demonstrates that it will not take the actions required to complete the process.  Refer to the appropriate policy manual for the program’s interview requirements.
