102-1 PURPOSES OF INTERVIEW
The interview is conducted to:
- Explain the applicant's rights and responsibilities;
- Complete the application and all related forms;
- Assist the applicant in understanding the eligibility requirements;
- Assist the applicant in identifying and obtaining verification required by the programs;
- Answer the applicant's questions about the Division and its programs;
- Explore the facts of the household's situation to:
- Identify and resolve any questionable information;
- Identify all DPADivision of Public Assistance programs for which the household might qualify; and
- Refer the applicant to other public and private agencies that can assist him or her in meeting needs not met by DPADivision of Public Assistance programs.
