Service Population: The CCTHITA TANF program will serve all families within its service area, in which at least one member of the assistance unit is an enrolled citizen of the CCTHITA or a federally recognized tribe listed in 83 Federal Register 34863 (July 23, 2018), at the time of application for benefits. The head of the assistance unit must provide adequate documentation at the time of the application for benefits in order to make the initial determination. In a family where one parent is Native and one is non-Native, the family will receive services from either DPA or CCTHITA depending on which member was designated head of household and applied for services. Once the family selects their service provider, they remain with that service provider for the duration of their time on assistance.

Angoon, Auke Bay, Coffman Cove, Craig, Douglas, Edna Bay, Elfin Cove, Gustavus, Haines, Hollis, Hoonah, Hydaberg, Juneau, Kake, Kasaan, Ketchikan, Klawock, Klukwan, Mount Edgecumbe, Naukati, Pelican, Petersburg, Point Baker, Port Alexander, Port Protection, Saxman, Sitka, Skagway, Tenakee Springs, Thorne Bay, Whale Pass, Wrangell, and Yakutat.
